1. Who we are §1
OffshoreVps ("we," "us," "our") provides Linux VPS, dedicated server, Windows RDP, and GPU cloud hosting.
This policy explains what we collect when you use our website and services, why, how long we keep it, and what choices you have.
2. Information we collect §2
What we collect depends on which parts of the service you use. We aim to collect the minimum needed to provision and secure your service — not the maximum we could justify.
Account information
- A generated login: a login email with no inbox, and a password stored only as a salted hash, so we cannot read it back.
- A reply address, only if you choose to provide one on the contact form for support replies. It is optional.
- Order details: plan, location, and billing history tied to your account.
Payment information
- We do not accept card payments, so no card details are ever collected or stored.
- Cryptocurrency payments are recorded as a public blockchain transaction and an internal payment reference. Blockchain transactions are, by their nature, public and permanent regardless of what we do on our end.
Technical & security information
- Connection metadata (source IP, timestamp, requested resource) for security monitoring, abuse prevention, and diagnosing outages, retained for a limited period described in Section 6.
- Support ticket contents, if you contact us.
We do not monitor, scan, or inspect the contents of what you run on your own server as a matter of routine operation.
3. How we use information §3
- To provision, operate, and bill for the services you order.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To respond to support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations that apply to us (see Section 7).
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.
4. Payment processing §4
We do not accept card payments. You send cryptocurrency to the deposit address shown on the top-up page and we credit your balance once the transaction confirms. See our Monero and Bitcoin payment pages.
5. Cookies & similar technology §5
The marketing site uses only strictly necessary cookies (for example, session state during checkout). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
6. Data retention §6
| Data | Typical retention |
|---|---|
| Account/token record | Duration of active service, plus a limited period after cancellation for billing history |
| Payment transaction references | As required by applicable tax and accounting law |
| Connection/security logs | A limited rolling window, then automatically deleted |
| Support tickets | Retained while relevant to an open or recently closed issue |
7. Sharing & legal requests §7
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share data with:
- Service providers who help us operate the business (payment processors, datacenter partners) under their own confidentiality obligations.
- Law enforcement or courts, when we are required to by valid legal process applicable to us in the relevant jurisdiction.
We aim to notify the affected customer of a legal request where we're permitted to do so, unless the law or a court order specifically prohibits it. We do not claim immunity from legal process, and we don't promise an outcome for any specific request — what we can disclose is limited by what we actually collected in the first place, described in Section 2.
8. Security measures §8
- Passwords are stored as salted hashes, never in plain text.
- Optional full-disk encryption is available on dedicated and VPS plans that support it.
- Administrative access to customer systems is logged and limited to what's needed for support and abuse response.
No system is perfectly secure, and we don't claim otherwise. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify affected customers as required by applicable law.
9. Your rights §9
Depending on where you're located, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these, contact us using the details in Section 13. Because our account system is token-based, we may ask you to demonstrate control of your token to process some requests, since that's the mechanism we use to confirm who's authorized to act on an account.
10. International transfers §10
We operate infrastructure across multiple countries; using our services may mean your data is processed in a country other than your own.
11. Children's privacy §11
Our services are not directed at, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn an account belongs to a minor, we will close it.
12. Changes to this policy §12
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
13. Contact §13
