Native BTC checkout

No BitPay, no Coinbase Commerce, no gateway in between. Our own node and wallet generate a fresh address per order and watch the chain — the same checkout works for VPS, Dedicated, RDP, or GPU hosting.

Why native matters

## A Bitcoin button that redirects isn't Bitcoin

Plenty of hosts advertise Bitcoin acceptance, but the checkout hands off to a centralized processor that converts BTC to fiat on its own books. That's not wrong to do — it's just a different arrangement than paying us directly, on-chain.

01

### Fresh address per order

Each order gets a new receiving address from our own HD wallet — never a shared merchant address reused across customers.

02

### No processor in the middle

Our backend talks to a Bitcoin node directly. There's no third-party gateway converting your payment to fiat before it reaches us.

03

### Same checkout, every product

VPS, Dedicated, RDP and GPU orders all use the identical BTC flow — no product-specific exceptions.

04

### Automatic over/underpayment handling

Overpay and we refund the difference to an address you specify; underpay and the order stays open until topped up or the window expires.

Under the hood

## How the checkout actually works

The mechanics, plainly, so you know what you're relying on.

#### You choose BTC at checkout

Our backend generates a fresh receiving address and locks a USD-equivalent amount, in BTC at the current rate, for a 60-minute window.

#### You send the payment

The exact address and amount are shown once. The network (miner) fee is separate and set by your own wallet — we don't add one on top.

#### Our node watches for it

We see the transaction in the mempool as soon as it broadcasts, then wait for 2 block confirmations (roughly 20 minutes at Bitcoin's ~10-minute block time) before treating it as final.

#### Provisioning kicks off

Once confirmed, your order enters the provisioning queue — VPS orders are typically fastest; RDP/GPU need extra time for OS imaging.

### Bitcoin is public, not private — be clear-eyed about that

Every Bitcoin transaction sits on a permanent, public ledger that anyone can inspect with a block explorer: the amount, the sending address, and the receiving address are all visible forever. A fresh address per order means your payment isn't grouped with anyone else's by default, but if that same address (or a wallet linked to it) is ever used elsewhere, the two can potentially be connected. That's pseudonymity, not anonymity — a real difference, and one worth knowing before you pay.

### Want stronger privacy?

If that trade-off matters for your order, [Monero](https://offshorevpshosting.com/buy-vps-with-monero) is built differently: ring signatures and stealth addresses mean the sender, receiver and amount aren't visible on its ledger the way they are on Bitcoin's. Same checkout flow, same products — just a different privacy model underneath.

### Why we still support it

Bitcoin is the most widely held and most liquid cryptocurrency, so for a lot of customers it's simply the coin they already have. We support it on the same terms as everything else here: no KYC, paid straight to our own wallet, no processor in between.

FAQ

## Bitcoin checkout questions

Q01. Is this really a direct Bitcoin integration?**

Yes — we run our own Bitcoin node and wallet. The address you pay is generated fresh per order from our own HD wallet. No BitPay, Coinbase Commerce, or similar processor is involved in the BTC flow.

Q02. How long does confirmation take?**

Typically 15–25 minutes for 2 confirmations, given Bitcoin's roughly 10-minute block time. Provisioning starts once that threshold is hit; RDP and GPU orders add 30–60 seconds for OS imaging on top of that.

Q03. Who pays the network fee?**

You do, as part of sending the transaction — that's set by your wallet, not by us. We don't add a separate fee for paying in BTC.

Q04. What happens if I under- or overpay?**

Underpayment: the order stays pending until you top it up, or the 60-minute window expires. Overpayment: we refund the difference to a Bitcoin address you specify on the order page.

Q05. Is my payment private?**

No — Bitcoin's ledger is public. Anyone can look up the address, amount and confirmations on a block explorer. A fresh address per order limits casual linkability, but it isn't anonymity. See [Monero hosting](https://offshorevpshosting.com/buy-vps-with-monero) if that matters for your order.

Q06. What other coins do you accept?**

Eight, natively: Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum, Tether, USD Coin, Solana, TRON and BNB, plus your account balance. The checkout architecture is the same across all of them.
